Winning a lawsuit and being awarded a large sum of money is not necessarily cause for celebration, according to a new report. In fact, companies are likely losing out on billions of dollars because of unenforced judgments.

The “2016 Judgment Enforcement Survey” was conducted by the litigation funder Burford Capital in conjunction with The Lawyer Research Service. The results are based on a survey conducted in April 2016 of over 200 private practice lawyers, in-house counsel and C-suite level executives in the United Kingdom, United States, Europe and Asia.
