The Association of Corporate Counsel has launched ACC Legal Operations, a new membership sector to support legal operations professionals. According to a statement from the in-house group, this section will be partnering with existing segments within the ACC to support members through law department management resources, benchmarking opportunities, conferences, and forums on how to foster collaboration and accelerate innovation in the running of law departments.
“In today’s corporate environment, driving value is a top priority, and legal operations professionals are at the forefront of leading these initiatives to run the law department more efficiently and effectively,” said Veta Richardson, ACC’s president and chief executive officer, in the statement. “We know that legal operations professionals can play a vital role in the success of multinational law departments.”
