There’s some new energy over at First Solar Inc., a provider of advanced solar power systems. Paul Kaleta has been named as executive vice president and general counsel, taking control of the leadership responsibility for the global legal functions of the company as of next week.
“He is a seasoned professional, with more than 20 years of experience as a general counsel, who brings highly relevant, market-specific depth to our leadership team,” said chief executive officer Jim Hughes, in a statement. Hughes also remarked that Kaleta has notable experience in the energy sector.
