Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher's Eugene Scalia prevailed against the SEC on behalf of the Business Roundtable and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which had challenged a proposed rule that would have made it easier for shareholders to nominate candidates for corporate boards of directors.
