Wallace Dietz, co-chair of the Internal Investigations and Government Enforcement Group of Nashville, Tennessee-based Bass, Berry & Sims, has led inquiries for a number of Fortune 500 companies. After participating in a June 15 panel discussion held in New York City by the International Law Office, he sat down with reporter Jan Wolfe to talk about the challenges lawyers face overseeing probes that span borders and multiple legal systems. CorpCounsel: What advice would you give attorneys managing their first cross-border investigation?
