How Lina Khan plays her last hands at the Federal Trade Commission could have a significant impact on how much of her progressive agenda survives under the administration of President-elect Donald Trump, or at least how long it survives.
While businesspeople who don't follow the FTC closely might assume that an incoming administration can change the direction of a federal agency overnight, the reality is more complicated, participants in an FTC panel on the FTC at late November's Global General Counsel Conference East in New York City noted.
