The W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the nation’s seventh-largest philanthropic foundation with $8.8 billion in assets and annual grant awards topping $300 million, hired Ballard Spahr partner Kahlil Williams as general counsel.

Williams joins the Battle Creek, Michigan-based foundation, which focuses on improving the health and welfare of children, after working six years in the Philadelphia office of Ballard Spahr, the last three as partner, representing companies and individuals in securities litigation and government investigations. He will report to foundation CEO La June Montgomery Tabron.
