Gene Levoff, former corporate secretary and director of corporate law at Apple, on Thursday received a sentence of four years on probation for engaging in a five-year insider trading scheme.
Levoff, who was entrusted with enforcing Apple’s ban on insider trading, was charged with six counts of securities fraud in 2019. He pleaded guilty to five counts last year. Prosecutors say he abused his position for his own financial gain.
