Prove Identity Inc., which helps companies manage their customers’ digital identities by using mobile phone data, has appointed tech industry veteran Mitch Bompey as chief legal officer.

Bompey, who has more than 25 years of legal experience, most recently was general counsel and chief risk officer at the New York-based fintech Addepar, whose data platform is used by the wealth management industry. That company launched in 2009 and had soared to a valuation of $2.2 billion in 2021, the year it last raised funding.
