Lawyers who create a schedule are more effective at navigating stress and living a resilient life, a mental health expert told attendees at ALM Global’s General Council Conference East in New York City on Tuesday.

Scheduling is the most important tool for helping lawyers decompress, said Sheila Robinson-Kiss, CEO of Rebalancing America and Beyond. She led a keynote session titled “Getting Past Overwhelmed: A Toolkit for Navigating Stress, Unpredictability and Transitions in the Legal Profession.”
