Patricia “Trish” Walsh is giving up the legal reins at payments processor Stripe to become general counsel and executive vice president at American International Group.
New York City-based AIG announced the appointment late Thursday. Walsh succeeds Lucy Fato, whom the insurance giant early this month elevated to vice chair, a newly created post. Fato had been legal chief for six years.
