Private equity giant KKR & Co. is handing newly appointed Chief Legal Officer Kathryn “Katie” King Sudol a restricted stock grant worth many millions of dollars to help ensure she sticks around for a while.

New York-based KKR said in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Monday that it had awarded 100,000 shares to Sudol, who came aboard in September 2022  as general counsel with the understanding she would become CLO upon David Sorkin’s retirement from that role in April of this year.
