The debate reverberated across social media in recent days, with the outcry on Twitter especially spirited. “Definite big time Glengarry Glen Ross energy coming through on this one,” one commenter tweeted. “Reason 6,540,329 I am so glad I had nothing to do with these firms,” said another. Others ridiculed the firm’s $850-per-hour rack rate for a junior associate.
