Legal departments and law firms’ growing reliance on cloud-based technology may bring with it significant convenience, but it is also sometimes coming with a significant snag—problems with interoperability, the ability of programs to work with one another.

Mark Yacano, managing director of the Transform Advisory services team at Major, Lindsey & Africa, said that legal departments everywhere are working in less siloed ways, bringing interoperability to the forefront during tech procurement.
