Phoenix-based Equality Health has tapped former Cigna veteran Romey Murphy to lead its legal team, and join its exec team.
The move comes amid rapid expansion for 7-year-old Equality, whose platform helps physicians and payers in value-based physician networks better address the needs of diverse and historically underserved populations. Value-based networks pay providers based on outcomes rather than transaction volumes.
