The nonprofit scientific journal publisher PLOS picked up a new general counsel back in February. Miami-based Sandra Upegui joined the organization from Swiss travel retailer Dufry, where she was senior legal counsel.
At PLOS, an open-access publisher formerly known as the Public Library of Science, Upegui is responsible for legal operations.
