Legal operations professionals want to add value beyond the legal department and thus are becoming more involved in cross-functional tasks that benefit the overall business, according to the Blickstein Group’s newly released Law Department Operations Survey.
The survey, conducted annually since 2008, found that the number of respondents who said they are “very frequently” involved in enterprise-wide strategic initiatives increased from 17% in 2020 to 22% in 2021.
