The Big Ten Conference has a new chief legal officer, Anil Gollahalli, who is taking the legal reins at the nation’s oldest Division I athletic conference after serving as general counsel of the University of Oklahoma for almost 14 years.

Gollahalli replaces Erica McKinley, who departed on Dec. 31 after only nine months on the job. In response to an inquiry from Law.com, a conference spokesman confirmed her departure and thanked her for her service. She did not respond to a LinkedIn message.
