Hercules Capital, a big player in lending to venture capital-backed companies, has hired Kiersten Zaza Botelho as general counsel and chief compliance officer.
She previously spent more than two years as vice president and associate general counsel at Bain Capital Credit and, before that, two years as vice president of legal and compliance at BlackRock. She started her career as an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
