Billtrust, an accounts receivable automation firm that went public last year in a SPAC merger that valued it at over $1 billion, has brought aboard a chief legal officer with extensive experience at financial companies.

The Lawrenceville, New Jersey-based company announced the appointment of Aimie Killeen on Tuesday. She joins Billtrust from the ATM deployment and management company Cardtronics, where she was executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary for nearly five years. She previously was global general counsel for DirectCash Payments, which Cardtronics acquired for $460 million in 2016.
