The Indiana Gaming Commission fined Boyd Gaming $150,000 last week, after the regulator found the casino company failed to disclose an investigation into former General Counsel Brian Larson, who retired abruptly in December 2019 after nearly 27 years with the company.
The IGC didn’t name the executive in its documentation but identified the person as an executive vice president, secretary and general counsel who retired on Dec. 9, 2019. According to U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission disclosures filed by Boyd Gaming, Larson retired from that position on the same date.
