The University of Central Florida has promoted longtime university attorney Youndy Cook to vice president and general counsel, following a confirmation vote by its board of trustees.
Cook has been serving as interim vice president and general counsel since December 2020, when W. Scott Cole stepped down after 19 years in the position.
