An advertising dispute between tech giant Google and Atlanta-based gourmet gift provider Edible Arrangements has garnered the attention of the Supreme Court of Georgia.

With all but Justice John J. Ellington unmasked, the fully vaccinated seven-member high court panel gathered in person Wednesday to hear oral arguments before determining whether Gwinnett County Superior Court’s dismissal of Edible Arrangement’s intellectual property complaint against Google had been proper. Having been recused, Justice Nels S.D. Peterson did not sit in on the proceeding. Nor did Justice Shawn E. LaGrua.
