Cryptocurrency exchange FTX.US announced Tuesday Ryne Miller, most recently a partner at Sullivan & Cromwell, has joined as its new general counsel, as the company’s former GC moves into a C-suite compliance position.

Miller, who led the commodities, futures and derivatives practice at Sullivan & Cromwell, was also formerly at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), where he was counsel to then-Chairman Gary Gensler, now chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
