Wanji Walcott, general counsel at Discover Financial Services, has been named chair of the board of directors at the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA). She is the first Black woman to chair the board.
MCCA announced the appointment on Thursday, and said it was effective earlier this month. Walcott has served on the organization’s board of directors since March 2020.
