From paraprofessionals taking on more tasks, to the outsourcing of some services to professionals based in low-cost areas, AI-powered legal tech is the latest iteration of moving repetitive, low-value work from lawyers to cost-effective alternatives.

The move toward AI-powered contract tools follows a similar path, noted panelists at the Legalweek(year) 2021′s “How Will Contract Automation Redefine the Traditional Attorney-Client Relationship?” panel held Tuesday.
