With her first 90 days on the job behind her, Virginia Johnson describes her new role as a “whirlwind,” but she’s settling into the GC seat just fine.

Johnson joined Schneider Electric as general counsel in late March, when she replaced the outgoing Tom Wirth, who retired in December after serving as general counsel for the company since 2006. Johnson, based in Boston, was tasked with leading the energy management and automation company’s roughly 50-member legal department, which is spread throughout North and Central America.
