A former Google dealmaker and ex-top lawyer for Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Inc. has taken the reins of the legal department at Fox News Media as general counsel and executive vice president of corporate development.
Bernard Gugar started today. He settles into his new job at the New York-based company as the network faces legal actions over its coverage of the 2020 presidential election, including Dominion Voting Systems’ $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit.
