Uber Technologies Inc. chief legal officer and corporate secretary Tony West, brother-in-law of Vice President Kamala Harris, raked in nearly $12.3 million in total compensation for 2020.
The San Francisco-based tech and ride-hailing company revealed West’s pay Monday in a proxy statement. The filing marked the first time that Uber has listed West as a named executive officer. He joined Uber in 2017, after leaving his general counsel position at PepsiCo Inc.
