After working for more than 25 years at Microsoft Corp. as an in-house leader and artificial intelligence ethics expert, Dave Heiner is reuniting with several former colleagues at Seattle-based startup Truveta Inc.
Heiner has joined Truveta as the health care tech company’s first chief policy officer and general counsel. He now reports to the startup’s CEO Terry Myerson, a former executive vice president at Microsoft. The two worked together at Microsoft for more than 20 years.
