A former lawyer for eBay Inc., Netflix Inc. and Lucasfilm Ltd. has changed lanes and entered the grocery industry as general counsel at Weee Inc.
Thomas Jeon is the first chief lawyer for the Fremont, California-based ethnic e-grocer, which launched in 2015 as a social e-commerce company and has raised more than $100 million in funding. Weee also named Ankur Shah as chief finance and strategy officer.
