Chicago lawyer and diversity advocate Jennifer Ballard Croft is leaving the world of criminal law to take over as the first ever chief legal officer for INTREN, one of the largest women-owned utility specialty companies in the country.
Croft most recently served as chief of staff and chief diversity officer for Cook County State’s Attorney Kimberly Foxx, the first Black woman to lead the Chicago-based prosecutor’s office, which is the second largest in the country.
