Disruptive events at work, from layoffs to organizational restructuring and hiring freezes, are on the rise along with instances of employee misconduct, according to a new survey that should raise alarms for legal and compliance department leaders.
In March, as the novel coronavirus outbreak was becoming a pandemic, research and advisory firm Gartner Inc. surveyed 1,000 employees throughout the world to find out if they were experiencing higher frequencies of disruptive “career moments.”
