An experienced in-house leader for the casino industry is alleging in a gender discrimination and unlawful termination lawsuit that she was fired from her general counsel position at an Atlantic City gaming house after speaking out about doctored meeting minutes.

Loretta Pickus says she was shown the exit four days after asking the Ocean Casino Resort audit committee to correct false meeting minutes and take responsibility for sending the flawed record to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. State law requires that the audit committee file its minutes with the NJDGE.
