The longtime general counsel for the United Mine Workers of America labor union has died.
Charles “Chuck” Donnelly, 71, of Winfield, West Virginia, died on Wednesday, according to an obituary published Friday.
"People like Chuck do not come along very often, and it hurts when they leave us," UMWA president Cecil Roberts said in a statement.
