General counsel and their outside law firms have been wrestling with COVID-19 and its business and workplace disruptions for weeks now, as the novel coronavirus spread across the globe. 

When we last published about this in Corporate Counsel on March 3, there were several dozen confirmed COVID-19 cases and six confirmed deaths in the United States but as of April 16 nearly 633,000 cases had been counted in the United States with more than 27,000 deaths, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
