A federal judge is allowing a wide swath of the consumer litigation accusing Facebook Inc. of unlawfully sharing user information with third parties to move forward.
U.S. District Judge Vince Chhabria of the Northern District of California on Monday largely turned back a request from Facebook’s lawyers at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher to dismiss claims filed in the wake of the company’s Cambridge Analytica scandal.
