Giant U.K. drug company AstraZeneca has acknowledged that it is under investigation from U.S. prosecutors over possible anti-corruption violations in Iraq, according to its latest quarterly filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The filing states that the DOJ’s criminal investigation is related “to activities in Iraq, including interactions with the Iraqi government and certain of the same matters alleged in” a private lawsuit filed last October by U.S. veterans and their survivors.
