Financial services data provider RNN Group has hired Jay Carter as general counsel and chief compliance officer, the company announced Wednesday. Carter comes to the Atlanta-based company from Resurgent Capital Services, where he most recently was senior corporate counsel.
In an interview with Corporate Counsel on Thursday, Carter said he is the startup company’s first GC and only in-house lawyer. He said he is particularly excited about “delving into the compliance side” of his new role.
