Carol "Lulu" Reisman

Of Counsel
Liskow & Lewis

LuLu Reisman is an experienced trial lawyer who has handled a wide range of commercial and tort litigation including cases involving intellectual property disputes, maritime disasters, products liability and warranty claims, toxic torts, and construction disputes. In her more than thirty years of practice, LuLu has represented her clients in numerous jury and bench trials and has headed up and managed large litigation teams while serving as lead trial counsel. Many of the cases she handles are document intensive, necessitating the use of e-discovery, computer-assisted review, ESI protocols and carefully drafted protective orders. At trial, LuLu and her team are able to marshal and present the most important evidence in complex scientific matters in a way that is understandable by both juries and judges.

In addition to having taught toxic tort law at Tulane Law School, where she graduated in 1990 summa cum laude, LuLu has vast experience handling toxic tort matters alleging exposure resulting in various types of cancer (including leukemia and lymphoma) as well as other diseases including encephalopathy. She also has helped clients in numerous personal injury, wrongful death, and property damage cases involving both industrial and consumer product exposures to a variety of chemicals including benzene, toluene, hydrogen sulfide, formaldehyde, organic tin and trichloroethylene (TCE).

Song Volk

Senior Counsel
Supernal

Song H. Volk advises clients on cutting-edge technology issues and has experience working in federal government, private practice, and in-house environments. She currently serves as Senior Counsel, International Trade, at Supernal, a Hyundai Motor Group company.

Prior to joining Supernal, she was an Assistant General at BWXT Advanced Technologies LLC (“BWXT AT”), a fully integrated engineering organization supporting space exploration and an Assistant General Counsel at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, a federal research laboratory with a national security mission.

Most of her early career centered in the Washington DC metro area where she advised clients in the satellite telecommunications as well as defense contracting industries. She was appointed twice to the President’s Export Council Sub-committee on Export Administration where she served as an industry advisor on export regulatory reform.

Ms. Volk graduated with a BA from Cornell University, an MA from Ewha Womans University in Seoul, South Korea, and a JD from Syracuse University College of Law.

Anne Bliek

Head of Commercial Litigation

Anne is a Dutch qualified lawyer with more than 13 years progressive experience in commercial contract law. She started her career in private practice (Dentons). After 5 years in private practice, she moved to an in-house role and started working for TomTom.

Currently Anne is managing the commercial legal team (consisting of 9 (senior) legal counsels and contract administrators), where they provide business focused, strategic, commercial, and proactive legal support. She and her team deal with a variety of commercial legal matters (license agreements, contractual challenges, commercial litigation, consumer rights, lease agreements, services agreements, privacy etc.). Anne is also part of the leadership team of the Automotive BU.

As part of her role Anne negotiates regularly. Recently she also qualified as a Legal Mediator.

Christina Liwski is the Assistant General Counsel at Nexus Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Nexus, Christina worked in a variety of other legal positions, including in-house at a tech company, a large international law firm, and as a criminal litigator for several years.
