Amy L. Tenbrink

Amy L. Tenbrink currently serves as Executive Vice President and Associate General Counsel – Revenue and Business Development for Univision Communications. In this role, Ms. Tenbrink both leads the Univision legal team with respect to all revenue-generating businesses and other initiatives (including content streaming and advertising sales) and serves as a strategic business advisor with respect to those same businesses and initiatives.

During 2021, Ms. Tenbrink also served as Univision’s Co-Interim General Counsel, responsible for regulatory and government affairs in addition to her usual duties. Ms. Tenbrink originally joined Univision as Senior Vice President – Business Affairs for content distribution, leading deals ranging from traditional MVPD distribution to innovative digital arrangements.

Before joining Univision, Ms. Tenbrink was Director and Senior Corporate Counsel for DISH Network, where she first supported a wide range of business units (including consumer, commercial, and advertising sales) and later, led the legal team for DISH’s content acquisition group, which negotiates billions of dollars in content deals annually. Prior to her work at DISH, Ms. Tenbrink worked in private practice, focusing primarily on technology, intellectual property, and finance.

Ms. Tenbrink holds degrees with honors from both the University of Southern California and the Georgetown University Law Center.

Jenny was a partner in the global sourcing practice at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman. Jenny was a member of the global sourcing practice for 14 years representing customers running competitive procurements for technology services.

A partner at Rothwell Figg in Washington, D.C., Jenny Colgate is an experienced litigator, a creative strategist, a trusted advisor, a thought leader, and an extremely hard worker. She is also a mom, an accomplished equestrian, a former marathoner, and an animal lover.

Jenny handles technology-related cases involving all areas of intellectual property (patents, trade secrets, trademarks, copyright), unfair competition, unfair trade practices, and data protection and privacy—but most of her time is spent on patent litigation. Jenny also help clients by counseling them on complex issues outside of litigation, including developing and updating compliance strategies, litigation threat letters, negotiating and drafting agreements, and evaluating the legal risks of pursuing various business actions. Jenny’s practice covers a broad range of diverse technologies, such as computer hardware and software , semiconductors, business solutions, machinery, consumer products, apparel, and chemical coatings and compositions.

Jenny is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated with honors, completing her thesis in the area of web advertising to children/children’s privacy. She received her J.D. and LLM from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce Law Center. She graduated magna cum laude.
