Stefania R. Geraci is Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for the Global Commercial Relations group at The Estee Lauder Companies. In this role, Stefania leads a global team of lawyers who provide strategic and tactical legal advice, supporting commercial transactions for ELC’s North America, Latin America, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), UK & Ireland and ELC Travel Retail and Online & Digital businesses.

Prior to joining ELC, Stefania was General Counsel for Grassi, an elite accounting and professional services firm among the Top 100 largest firms in the United States, and prior to that she was Vice President and General Counsel North America for Luxottica, a world leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of fashion, luxury, sports and performance eyewear. Her unique blend of empathetic listening and non-nonsense advising are the perfect complement to her years of experience and expertise in complex business transactions, critical contract negotiations, risk management and compliance, business strategy development and legal department management and process creation and implementation. Her experience on the global stage and ability to drill down into complexities make her an invaluable asset to the C suite.

Earlier in her career, Stefania was an Associate in the Manhattan office of the law firm Hogan Lovells. She is a graduate of The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and received her B.A. in Political Science from Barnard College, Columbia University.

Laura Schiesl Vega

Associate General Counsel & Senior Director, Head of Legal Affairs

Laura Schiesl Vega is currently Assistant General Counsel, Senior Director and Head of Legal Affairs for MicroVention, Inc., a world leading rapidly growing medical device company and pioneer of the development of neuroendovascular technologies. Her key responsibilities include leading the Legal Affairs department, M&A, commercial contracting, employment and product liability litigation, strategic initiatives, data protection and privacy, and global corporate governance. Laura has served as a founder and leader in important initiatives throughout her career.

In 2018, Laura founded Insight Enterprise, Inc.’s first teammate resource group, Women With Insight, and served as its Executive Sponsor growing the resource group to almost 1000 members. Laura is continuing her efforts in professional development, recruitment, advancement, and retention at MicroVention, Inc., and is Program Director for the Women in Business Affinity Group and is a key facilitator for cross-functional leadership training across the global MicroVention organization. Laura also serves as a Board Member of Take the Lead, whose mission is to propel all women to take their fair and equal share of leadership positions, and was Conference Chair of the Annual Conference at UCLA. Laura is also on the Advisory Board for Women, Influence & Power in the Law.

Laura was elected to serve on the Loyola Law School Alumni Association Board of Governors for the 2023- 2025 term, is a mentor in the Loyola Law School mentor program and volunteers her time working on cases for the Loyola Project for the Innocent. Laura is an active member of the Southern California chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel serving on both the Pro Bono Committee and Diversity Committee and as a mentor in the Diversity Internship Program. Laura is continuing the path laid by her father, a social justice advocate, and is co- authoring with her father the book, Establishing Racial Equality: The NAACP and Civil Rights Reform in California, 1940-1970.

Laura is a graduate of Loyola Law School of Los Angeles, cum laude, order of the coif, where she served on the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review and was awarded Outstanding Student of the Year at graduation. Laura has a bachelor’s degree in Honors History and Law from the University of California at San Diego. Prior to joining MicroVention, Inc., Laura spent 10 years managing the Legal Contracts Team for Insight Enterprises, Inc., was a federal law clerk at the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and a litigation senior associate at the global law firms of Jones Day and Greenberg Traurig.

Maggie Warren

Senior VP & Assistant General Counsel

Maggie is Senior Vice President, General Counsel for Vertafore, Inc., the leading provider of software and technology services to the insurance industry headquartered in Denver. In this role she has 3 teams reporting to her: Legal, Privacy and Compliance, and Cybersecurity. She and her team are responsible for supporting mergers and acquisitions; litigation management; compliance including regulatory, privacy and data security; labor and employment; corporate governance; management of outside counsel; product development, including intellectual property; commercial real estate; and complex commercial transactions.

Previously, Maggie was Associate General Counsel with Clarivate Analytics, formerly the IP and Science Division of Thomson Reuters, where she was responsible for privacy and data security compliance, complex commercial transactions, labor and employment, business strategy and product development for a global corporation.

Maggie supports the in-house community by mentoring a law student intern multiple times throughout the year and is an active member of the Colorado chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. Other volunteer work is dedicated to the high school performing arts and athletic departments as well as the community swim team.

Maggie earned her juris doctorate cum laude from Western Michigan University and her undergraduate bachelor of the arts from the University of Colorado. She is licensed and a member of the bar association in both Colorado and Michigan.

Leah Yadegar

Leah Yadegar is the Senior Corporate Counsel for Material, (formerly LRWGroup), a leading integrated marketing services company that leverages deep human understanding to help brands deliver material outcomes and experiences for their customers and the communities they serve.

Along with her General Counsel, Leah supports over 1250 employees in over 20 offices around the world. Leah is responsible for enterprise-wide legal, and risk management functions spanning across Material’s eleven entities. Leah most enjoys spearheading client contract negotiations, vendor onboarding, employee and independent contractor matters, data security and training others in the art of negotiation.

Before joining Material, Leah was a litigator in a boutique civil litigation practice in Beverly Hills. Leah has been active on the board of several international non-profit organizations and in 2017-2018 was appointed the Director of the StandWithUs legal fellowship, which provides practical, hands-on legal training to law students from the five Los Angeles based law schools. Leah holds two bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California, Santa Barbara in History of Public Policy and Sociology (summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa), a J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law, and a Certificate in A.D.R. from the prestigious Straus Institute.

Outside of her passion for law, business and negotiating, Leah is an avid international traveler, and enjoys skiing, and tennis. When she’s not at work, she is busy running after her three young sons and adventuring with her attorney husband.
