The Judicial Conference Advisory Committee on Civil Rules has recently released proposed changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP) with specific attention to case management in large matters, like Multidistrict Litigation and other coordinated proceedings. Also around the corner are impending FRCP changes to address data security and the protection of confidential information in the age of data breaches.
