Anna Lozoya

Anna is the Risk Manager at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center. In this position, Anna utilizes her immense skill set from her prior experiences as an attorney, auditor, and nurse to ensure that veterans receive optimal medical care. As the Risk Manager, Anna advises the medical center director and other leadership members regarding a myriad of topics which include corporate compliance, medical malpractice, health care standards of practice, and patient safety. Moreover, Anna assists the medical center in developing and implementing policies and procedures that ensure clinical health care providers practice within the standard of care.

Anna currently serves as a board member of the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois, Region IX Deputy President of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA), and is a Council Member of the Health Law Committee of the Illinois State Bar Association. In 2017, she was named one of HNBA’s Top Lawyers Under 40 and Pro Bono Attorney of the Year for her service on behalf of the elderly and Hispanic community in Chicago. She was recently named one of Negocios Now! Magazine’s 40 under 40 Latinos and Illinois Nursing Foundation’s 40 under 40 Emerging Nurse Leaders

Emily is the Senior Corporate Counsel of Litigation and Employment at Delicato Family Wines, one of the fastest growing wine companies in the United States.

Prior to joining Delicato, Emily had extensive experience litigating class action and individual personnel labor and employment disputes from both the employee and the employer side of the bar. Using this experience Emily now provides counsel and strategic legal guidance regarding personnel policies, employment disputes and business litigation.

Emily holds a J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law and dual B.A.’s in English and Political Science from the University of Southern California. Emily serves on the Marin Women’s Commission and Equal Employment Opportunity Advisory Council, advocating for the rights of women and girls in Marin County.

Emily received her Bachelors in Arts in English and Political Science from the University of Southern California (Fight on!) before obtaining her Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University. Additionally, she has a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine.

Emily lives in Marin with her husband and two kids, where they are usually found riding bikes, hiking, watching Warriors Basketball or Trojan Football. When she’s not working or taking care of her kids, Emily serves on the Marin Women’s Commission and Equal Employment Opportunity Advisory Council, advocating for the rights of women and girls in Marin County.

Prior to Smule, Sharon was the Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at LifeLock (NYSE: LOCK), a leading identity theft protection service provider, recently acquired by Symantec for ~$2.4 Billion – following a competitive bidding process where Segev played an instrumental role advising the Board and leading the company to a great outcome. At LifeLock Segev helped raise the compliance and information security bar, while enabling the company to continuously innovate and excel by navigating through evolving complex regulatory requirements and implementing tools and processes that allow for efficiency and scale.

Prior to LifeLock, Segev was the Vice President, Corporate Development & General Counsel at Elo Touch Solutions, a multinational interactive touch solution provider. At Elo she built the legal department from the grounds up and implemented an agile and efficient infrastructure, responsible for M&A and strategic transactions, IP strategy, and worldwide legal operations.

Prior to Elo, Sharon was Vice President, Associate General Counsel & Assistant Secretary at Cadence Design Systems (Nasdaq: CDNS). For Cadence, she led the acquisitions of over a dozen of start-ups and publicly traded companies and was also responsible for corporate governance, compliance and business practices, as she restructured worldwide commercial practices and compliance programs.

Sharon cemented the earlier stages of her career in top law firms, including Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and Herzog, Fox & Neeman, handling a wide range of legal matters for multinational private and public companies, including SEC compliance and IPO readiness. Her dual degrees in law and accounting helped her develop strong business acumen, as an advantage in orchestrating legal solutions. She prides herself at identifying diverse talented people and helping them excel. Through different panels, speaking engagements, and professional forums, Sharon is vocal about legal contribution to business practices, IP protection, M&A, information security, privacy and compliance, women’s leadership and creative team building.
