Diana Liu is the Chief Development and Construction Officer for the Chicago Housing Authority, overseeing all development and construction activities at CHA. She arrived at CHA in January 2016 and brings with her 30 years of commercial real estate experience, primarily as a commercial real estate lawyer.

Most recently, Ms. Liu served for six years as a Principal, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Artemis Real Estate Partners in metropolitan Washington, D.C., a real estate private equity firm.

Prior to Artemis, she practiced commercial real estate law as an equity partner with WolfBlock LLP and Cozen O’Connor in Philadelphia, PA. In her practice, Ms. Liu represented pension funds, institutional investors, REITs, developers, real estate operators, corporations and life insurance companies in all forms of real estate acquisition, development, management, financing, leasing and sale. She has significant experience representing lending institutions in construction, permanent and mezzanine financing, as well as in loan workouts, restructures and foreclosures.

Ms. Liu previously served as a member of the Johns Hopkins University Board of Trustees and the Johns Hopkins University Krieger School of Arts and Sciences Advisory Council. Ms. Liu taught an advanced course in commercial real estate transactions as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania Law School from 1998 – 2009. She is currently a Board Member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and the Association of Asian American Investment Managers. She is an active member of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association.

Ms. Liu is a former President of the Asian American Women’s Coalition and the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Pennsylvania, all in Philadelphia, PA. Ms. Liu earned a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University and a J.D. from Cornell Law School.

Mr. King focuses his practice on commercial real estate, real estate litigation and commercial foreclosures. His commercial real estate practice encompasses all aspects of commercial real estate transactions including representing clients in the purchase, sale, financing and defeasance of high rise office buildings, office parks, shopping centers and apartment complexes in the eastern United States. Mr. King regularly represents borrowers in the closing of securitized or "CMBS" loans secured by commercial real estate for loans ranging from $2.0 mil. to $100 mil. Mr. King has worked with loan servicers and special servicers in the assumption of securitized or "CMBS" loans. In addition to handling the foreclosure of commercial real estate securing loans, Mr. King represents lenders in loan modifications and workouts of troubled loans. He also provides legal counsel for a variety of commercial and corporate transactions. His real estate litigation practice includes representing condemnation authorities in eminent domain proceedings and resolving title claim matters.

Scott Fielding’s practice is primarily in the areas of real estate law, real estate acquisition and development, title insurance, office, medical office and retail leasing, condominium and condominium association law, commercial lending (represents both borrowers and lenders), and general corporate transactions.

Scott serves as an instructor at The Nashville School of Law in the area of Property Law.

Mr. Fielding is a 1999 graduate of Vanderbilt Law School, where he was an editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review and author of “Free Competition or Corporate Theft?: The Need for Courts to Consider the Employment Relationship in Preliminary Steps Disputes.” Mr. Fielding graduated cum laude from Centre College with a bachelor of science degree in history and economics and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He earned a master’s degree in American history from the University of Kentucky.
