Gabe Scannapieco is Assistant Director at the Consumer Protection Branch of the US Department of Justice. Gabe has litigated numerous matters involving frauds on the United states, violations of the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, as well as Title 18 criminal offenses relating to prescription drugs. He has also investigated and litigated a broad range of consumer frauds for the Department, including tech support and international mass mailing schemes. Before joining DOJ, Gabe was an attorney the Chicago and Washington offices of a large, international law firm working on a variety of pharmaceutical, health care, products liability, and other complex litigation matters. Gabe received his JD from Harvard Law School, and is a graduate of the University of Michigan.ips.

Tejal D. Shah is an Associate Director for the Division of Enforcement in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s New York Regional Office, where she oversees the SEC’s enforcement program in New York. Prior to becoming an Associate Director in 2023, Ms. Shah served as Senior Special Counsel to the Enforcement Director and Deputy Director, and before that, as Enforcement Counsel to Chair Gary Gensler. She began her career at the SEC in 2014 and served as Senior Counsel in the Enforcement Division. Before joining the SEC, Ms. Shah practiced law at Cooley LLP. She received her JD from NYU School of Law in 2006 and a Bachelor of Science in Policy Analysis and Management from Cornell University in 2003.
