Gillian’s primary area of practice is corporate finance and securities. She has represented both issuers and underwriters in public and private debt and equity securities offerings, including offerings of limited partner interests of publicly traded partnerships, also known as MLPs.

In addition to representing both public and private companies in complex mergers and acquisitions, asset and stock dispositions, and venture capital financings, Gillian regularly counsels clients on general corporate matters, including compliance with periodic reporting requirements. She also has significant experience with proxy disclosure issues, corporate governance, executive compensation, and Section 16 reporting obligations. Gillian is a member of the firm’s Management Committee.

Daniele is the Assistant General Counsel at Indo-MIM Inc., a leading global supplier of precision-engineered products using Metal Injection Molding (MIM) as the core manufacturing technology. Daniele provides advice and legal support on a broad array of matters and is responsible for ensuring that the company is in compliance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements. Daniele is also responsible for Indo-MIM’s compliance with all applicable U.S and foreign trade laws, including export controls, customs regulations, and other import/export requirements.

Previously Daniele worked as an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Skadden Arps. She represented clients in connection with congressional, government and internal investigations. Daniele graduated with honors from the American University Washington College of Law.

Prior to attending law school, Daniele spent five years as a Senior Policy Analyst at the U.S. Government Accountability Office, investigating how the federal government spends taxpayer dollars and briefing congressional staff on her findings.

Nancy Laben is our chief legal officer and leads the law department, which spans numerous functions including corporate governance, government contract law, employment law, securities law, and investigations. She is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team.

Before joining Booz Allen, Nancy served as general counsel at AECOM Technologies. There, she was responsible for all legal support and led a team of 55 attorneys as well as contract advisors and outside counsel.

Prior to that Nancy served as deputy general counsel at Accenture, where she held senior positions supporting the company’s U.S., Europe, and Asia business. She has also served in the law department at IBM Corp.

Nancy holds a B.A. in government and East Asian studies, with honors, from Smith College and a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law.?
