Scott Timpe


Scott C. Timpe is an associate in the Capital Markets and Commercial Lending practice. His practice focuses on retail development and commercial leasing transactions. Working closely with seasoned attorneys in the Real Estate practice, Scott regularly counsels buyers and sellers on the intricacies of real estate transactional matters.

Scott currently serves as Coach for the UCLA School of Law Transactional Law Meet Team, helping law students refine their transactional and negotiating skills for this competition.

Cox Castle Nicholson LLP

Shawn is a real estate associate and is part of the Land Development Team at the firm. He has handled a wide variety of real estate transactions, including assisting clients with the purchase, disposition and financing of retail centers, hotels and undeveloped land. He also has prepared CCRs, Reciprocal Easement Agreements, Hotel Management Agreements and conducted closings for multi-million dollar transactions.

He received his J.D., with a specialization in Business Law, at UCLA School of Law. While in law school, Shawn was a Legal Extern in the Capital Habeas Unit of the Office of the Federal Public Defender. He graduated with a B.S. in Finance and Psychology from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.
