Description

Emerging technology is advancing every day and with each advancement are new implications for the law and the legal process. That is particularly true for AI where deep learning software and self-executing codes can drive legal decisions.

Those studying AI and the law are working to build a framework that would help lawyers understand the limitations and implications of the technology and ask the right questions when evaluating results.

As computational law increases in clarity and popularity, what skills will lawyers need to develop to be able to properly assess the quality of the justice flowing from data-driven decisions?

This program was recorded as part of ALM's Legalweek Conference held on January 28th, 2019.
