Debevoise & Plimpton said Monday that it had added longtime O’Melveny & Myers partner Edward “Ted” Hassi in its Washington, D.C., office. Hassi, who served as chief trial counsel for the Federal Trade Commission during the Obama administration, will be a partner in Debevoise’s antitrust practice.

In San Francisco, meanwhile, O’Melveny announced that Latham & Watkins counsel Geoffrey Kuziemko is joining the firm as a partner in its mergers and acquisitions practice.
